Light Up the Night for Parkinson’s
On April 11 – World Parkinson’s Day, the global Parkinson’s community is coming together through the PD Avengers “Spark the Night” initiative to raise awareness and show support for those living with Parkinson’s disease.
Parkinson Mentors Arizona, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, encourages everyone to join this simple yet powerful movement. On the evening of April 11, shine a blue light bulb on your front porch and help turn neighborhoods across Arizona blue in honor of the more than 12 million people worldwide living with Parkinson’s.
A single blue light can spark conversation, build awareness, and remind those living with Parkinson’s that they are not alone. Together, we can shine a light on Parkinson’s and the importance of community, support, and hope.
How to participate:
• Install a blue bulb in your porch light
• Turn it on the evening of April 11
• Share a photo on our Facebook page, Parkinson Mentors Arizona or Instagram page @ParkinsonMentorsArizona to help spread the word.
Let’s light up the night and stand together for the Parkinson’s community.
