ADOT Communication Accommodations

If you have a disability that affects how you communicate, you can add a Communication Accommodation indicator to your MVD records. This helps law enforcement understand that you may respond differently during traffic stops or other interactions.

Important: This indicator is completely voluntary and confidential. Only law enforcement can see it—it won’t appear on your Motor Vehicle Record, driver’s license, or ID card.
